Comp Cams Magnum double roller timing chain???

Problem taken care of..... Got another, but I don't need to ask any questions about it, jut got to fix it... And I don't want to.... Dang it. :rotz:

That's correct, the rear face of the cam sprocket uses the front of the block for a thrust surface. Install the sprocket all the way on the cam, push it against the block then check to see that your lifter lobes are centered in the lifter bores.

Got to drag this one up... I had written the torque # spec's somewhere and lost em... I know it wasn't much, but wondering if someone knows right off hand what the 3 bolt cam bolts are generally recommended to be torqued to? I'm thinking it wasn't but either 15# or 25#... :shruggy: :eyes:

3 bolt 30#, 1 bolt 45#. You have to hold the cam forward and bump the gear back or Pull it back with the bolts to check lifter to lobe center.
