Getting ready to order my brgs from Summit and had some questions as to which ones to get.

For the cam I see a SP  Z1453M and Duro-Bond PDP-17.  The PDP-17 are listed as perf. but are cheaper for some reason by $4.  I only found one post from someone putting them in.  Are they any good or just stick with the Z1453M  The money is not the issue but while I'm buying I would prefer to get the better ones for what small difference in cost is.

For the rods, Z82320CP10 and Z87135CH10 with the Z87's listed as perf.  Same issue only the 87's are more.

For the mains I found the Z4924MA10 or MS877P10.  Seems like there are several variations for usage.  Some list a difference in the thrust flange dia while other brands don't mention it. From the page "Maximum outside diameter of thrust flange surface is 3.624 in. or 3.930 in.". I measured my old bearing and it was about 3.582.

What did anyone else go with or will either do me ok for a mild 6 pack build?

The '74 and later blocks are setup for the larger diameter thrust bearing but can also use the earlier small bearing, the pre-'74 must use the smaller diameter bearing.

As far as cam bearings go, I would avoid the ones that aren't continuous one-piece band, some are rolled from a flat strip and have a visible seam on the outer periphery.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
