Does anyone know of any AMD dealers that set up to sell stuff at the Portland Swap Meet?  I'll be attending this year (March 31, Apr 1, 2) and I'd like to place my order ahead of time so I can just pick it up there.  As some of you fellow Canadians may know, AMD doesn't ship direct to customers on the north side of the border.  My other option is to have my order shipped to a broker at the border, then pick it up there.

You might check with Columbia Parts although I don't remember if they come up to Oregon any more. http://www.columbiapartsco.com/ Looks like they've got a California area code now so who knows. But they might know who you can contact.

You might also consider contacting the swap meet officials and ask them if they know which AMD sheet metal vendors plan on going. pdxswap@aol.com 503.678.2100

QuoteIs there more than one Portland Swap Meet @ the beginning of April?

Yes this is the one.  The dates that I quoted are off a bit because we're going down early because there's another swap meet next door at the speedway that starts a day earlier.  April 3 is on Sunday and only goes till 1:00 pm.  Most people leave either Saturday after closing or on Sunday morning.  There are a few straglers on Sunday late to catch the deals where vendors couldn't be bothered carrying stuff home.

OK then.  Perhaps I'll see you there.  I never used to miss it.

Picture the size of the Portland Swap Meet & the racetrack but picture everything being Mopar.  That's the 1st comparison we came up with for Carlisle.

I would contact Bill Dallas @ East Portland Auto Body.  If he can't hook you up I'm sure he knows where to send you.

Or Steve Miles @ North American Muscle Car
Steve always has several booths' there.

An excerpt from NAMC's website:  We are parts distributors and authorized installers for Year One, Goodmark Industries, (AMD) Auto Metal Direct, Legendary Interiors, Mopar Performance Parts, Firm Feel Steering & Suspension, First Place Auto Products, P.G. Classics, and others.

If you contact either one of these guys', tell them the guy in the wheelchair sent ya'.  ;)

Yes, the Portland meet is a total joke if you are looking for anything Mopar related. I often say it's 80% Chevy, 19% Ford and 1% Mopar/AMC/other.

Now I've GOT to go to Carlisle!.  Here I thought Portland was big.  I know it's focused more on non-Mopar.  It's too bad it's on the other side of the continent for me.
