What were they thinking? And what are they smoking for that price?

I love how it says

"Price does not include taxes, title, license, and dealer doc fees! Call or email for complete vehicle specific information."

For that price it better be included, heck it better be at my front door...though id probably just say "its not mine" because of sheer embarrassment.

And why does it have 3 fuel filters? It seems for the last however many years 1 filter is adequate.

Wow. It looks like they built a 10 second drag car but forgot to tub it out. Im guessing it has a 8/34 in the rear and stock drive line.  :shruggy:

Best bet would be to put the motor in a car that is set up for that much power & toss a 383 in this cruiser.

That massacre on the hood is painful to look at. :icon_smile_blackeye:

over priced by about 60,ooo. hot rods never sell for big money. but thats vegas. hate that hood. should have put a scoop on it. not a big general fan.  way nicer 69's to buy for that price. get a real daytona easy for that price.

dkn1997

for that price, it better include a 3' tall women with a flat head who turns into a pizza at midnight

That's what I was thinking. If your going to hack the hood, why not make room for some rubber that can put some of that power to the payment. Also, if your building a drag car, an automatic would make more sense. :shruggy:

All you haters.  I think its cool and the hood doesnt bother me.  its kind of like a ram horns comming thru the hood.   :Twocents:

It does seem common to come across cars for sale though that "have NOS installed, but not hooked up yet".   :scratchchin:

Because having 3 fuel filters is the latest and greatest technology :smilielol:

That's a butchered car if I've ever seen one! They really need to get off the pipe. :puke:

I saw it at the Salt Lake City Autorama in March - wasn't that impressed ::)  Might be worth 1/2 the price he is asking.

That car would be better without the General Lee paint. If your going to make a General make it right. Whatever paint job its way over priced. I love Generals but not like that

mikesbbody

WTF is up with that "thing" coming through the hood?

jb666

And that... my friends... is the reason I DID NOT want anything going through my hood... I've seen that before... And am left asking WHY??

67440chrg

I would think it would be better to take the NOS off so people dont worry about the engine ever being thrashed on. The hood was probably one mans poor decision he will regret. At least on my car I put my nice hood away and used a salvage yard hood and cheep scoop knowing if I grow up or want to sell it I can change it back.

If they just would have taking the extra time to make the air filters spin as you drive,  :smilielol: could have asked for another 5000.  :faint:. Thank goodness for AMD.

Admirality blue

grew up religiously watching the Dukes of Hazzard and love the General Lee & every single episode, but you'd have to literally PAY ME to drive around town in a such an over-attention seeking monstrosity of a car.   don't care if the kiddies-girls-gas station attendents & townsfolk dig the general lee or not, not for me.  for the ridiculios seeking price of this GL i'll take 3 dk.Green 69,70,71 R/T tribute chargers instead...

Ghoste

I enjoy the fact that it's a fully restored perfect RT Charger with an XP in the VIN. ::)

hehe..... did they calculate the horsepower right ? 12.06s /116mph indycates to 550-600hp  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee2-YITn2xk
my Chevelle went 11.5 with 680hp.(12.05s with 515hp) with street tires and full mufflers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_KzPy0I5Dg

it is a nice car if you take away the general lee look + funny air cleaner , why race interior for car this slow? and is that nitrousbottle near the drivers head area?
would someone buy it for half that price?
