Just curious what do use and why? Brand? Viscosity?High milage, synthetic etc?

Castrol Synthetic in all my vehicles with Mobil 1 oil filter.  I am pushing 250,000 miles on my Yukon, and she runs (and looks) like the day she was new.  We have 160,000 on my GMC 3500 truck and almost 200,000 on my wifes 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.  I will not use anything else.

What engine?

I used Mobil1 in everything I own. I used 15w50 in my super duty with a full quart of Lucas since its a diesel and I beat on it and a Wix filter.  For the 08 civic I use Mobil1 0w20 so it gets 42mpg and isnt a stupid hybrid with Purolator filters because the filter great and the magnet on the bottom. The jeep gets pennzoil 10w30 high mileage with bars two parts stop leak since the rear main is leaking and his has a ton of miles on it. The charger....the engine is in pieces and I havent even thought about it yet.

I use a High Zinc/phospherous oil that used to be used exclusively in Motorcycle racing, for my older junk..Can't remember the name right now, but it's good oil.

For everything else especially with roller cams in 'em, I use whatever I can get my hands on that's cheap...

Mobil One 15w-50.

Lots of zddp and the really pretty empty bottles in the trash impresses the garbage man with my taste in oil.

i been using castrol 10-40 and 20-50 in my 440 along with a bottle of ZDDP like said above check out the 2nd thread down and also check out this thread for some info

I run Valvoline in everything, VR 1 in the charger, 5-20 in the new trucks,10-30 in the 98

Pennzoil 10w30 on my 96 Suburban with 201,000 miles. Took it to New York and pulled a 1010 JD Dozer back to Ohio, 70 mph with no problems. It went to Texas last month and pulled a trailer back and used 1 quart on the whole trip. Runs great and looks just as good as it runs.
