my drivers door window will not go up . can you guys tell me how to fix it. i changed the moter but that did not work HELP   68 charger power windows.thanks charger490

I don't have a schematic but can you jump across the terminals at the switch (in essence, bypassing the switch)?

Don, me thinks you got a bad switch...power & ground are applied to motor to make it go up & down...reversing the power & ground to motor is done by the switch.

grab a test light, with motor & window switch wires still connected, take test light and connect to the 2 wires at the motor, operate switch up & down to make motor work, see if test light lights up in both directions..if test light operates in one direction only, you have a bad switch.

You will probably have to unplug the motor wires,or pierce the coving. Gator clip to a GOOD ground ,touch probe to one connector at a time and toggle the switch.
