need some ideas of what ya'll would think it would cost to change out the engine to a 426 with 2 quads (not a hemi) and a 4 speed as well as paint.

Hard to tell on the paint until you see it in person. I say it looks like a decent deal but there isn't much detail in the description and only 4 pics so if I had to guess I'd guess it's probably a hack job. But who knows. It would be worth a look to me at least. But pretending it is ready for final bodywork and paint you'd be into that probably $4k-$7k for that.

Do you have a 426 that's ready to go?

I put a 426 in my S bird...then figured out I cant change the #3 spark plug.It is almost against the steering unit.Cant get a wrench on it  :RantExplode:

  Even with my 440 I use a flat wrench or a flat wrench with the plug socket to get at no. 6 and 8 plugs.

I change them when I change the oil, and I just get underneath for most of them...
