Thanks fellas! All went well and I'm at home now. I can tell ya hospitals sure aren't the place for a quiet recovery. Trying to get rest there I find to be very difficult. Between the commotion in the halls, beeping machines and people coming and going all day and night I don't think I ever got more than 3 hours steady sleep. I'm glad to be home.

Glad you made it home. If the hospitals there are like the ones in the states there no place to get sleep. Allthough when my wife had to have her appendix removed the nurses kept trying to get her to take pain medication. I'm assuming it was partially to keep her doped up and out of their hair.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

Really happy everything went well and you are home! Get well soon and don't let the B@$7A&ds get you down!  My hospital stay was not a good time but it went well and the nurses got a laugh out of my disposition regularly, although they woke me up all too often to poke and prod me.

Glad you are on the road to recovery and I am glad you decided to take the doc's advice.  There will be times in the future you look back and laugh about this.

Just picked up this thread.. +1 on the well wishes and the wonderful comfort that being back home brings. Had cysts and variety of other junk removed from my throat when I was a junior in high school. Surgery was supposed to be quick in and out and ended up being a marathon as they found a lot more of the crap in my neck and under my jaw. Recovery wasn't any fun as I wasn't allowed to do anything buy lie on my back for like 3 days. Felt sooooooo good to be home again.

Glad all is going well.  :yesnod:

What were the results of your pathology report ?? :shruggy:

Sounds like they did a right hemi colectomy.....

Typically they recomend you have another followup colonoscopy within ONE year,,,,depending on what the pathology report showed ( sometimes sooner) :yesnod:

Need to ask them if there was any "dysplasia" in the polyp (low grade,,,high grade,,,,or any cancer features) :scratchchin:

good luck,,,,
