Logo photoshop request

Can a photoshop master please help me out?  I'm trying to turn the infinity logo into a concept for a team logo to read "EAB".  Here's my very ugly sketch and the original to get started.

Ok, first effort was Microsoft Paint, this is Adobe Photoshop.

I can also see what it is he's wanting, but you could take all my Photoshop skills and have room to put them in a thimble.

The best I can do myself with MS paint. 
I'd like the "A" maybe to go up higher so that the horizontal line is half way up the oval to have more even black above and below the line.  Also would like to round the inside curves while keeping the chrome emblem feel.
