What gets me is, he lists it as a Charger...What a freakin Idoit.

You would think they would spend and extra tens minutes cleaning up the engine bay a little. :slap:  And that radiator doesn't look like will last ten minutes going down the road.

In his defense though, if he is a Dodge dealer look at the issues Dodge themselves have naming their car.  Charger SRT Super Bee Daytona with Track Pack and RT packages and it really should just be Coronet or Intrepid.

bull

He knows what it is. He's just playing dumb because it draws attention on sites like this (more hits) and more people search the name Charger on Ebay than they do the name Coronet.

But I like Ghoste's explanation too.

ACUDANUT

It may get more hits, but wanting a Charger and seeing a Coronet isn't going to change your mind.  That trick might work on a Roadrunner vs Coronet/superbee

:shruggy: It doesn't matter to some people. That's why you see "not a Charger" or "not a Cuda" in some of those descriptions. It's just a word hit trick. Their theory is the more eyes that see the ad the better their chances to sell. Similar to the spammer mentality.

Hmmm, kinda like she's a "Virgin".....Only that was 50 years ago  :smilielol:  :shruggy:

I'd like to see it before it was painted and if it is a real Super Bee.

Judging by the owner's knowledge, the car should have been listed it as a Stupid Bee.

He has the VIN listed as beginning with "WM" so that would mean that it's at least a real Super Bee.  The pic of the fender tag would appear to back this up.

I'll never understand why folks do this....a fluff and buff on the outside but totally ignore what really matters like the mechanicals.  IMO they want to much.  Looks like they took a good starting car and did the quick fluff and now want top $$$.  I am sure whoever buys it will have to redo alot of what was already done to do it right.  But I guess that's why restoration shops are in business....

I can't imagine that paint is done right when the engine compartment and inner wheel wells look so bad.
