Clearcoat abrasions: advice

My Road Runner was recently painted with b/c (2-3wks ago), using PPG Glamour Clear. From 5ft away the paint is spectacular, however, up close at angles there are abrasions evident in the clearcoat. Difficult to describe the abrasions, so I included pix. They aren't extensive but enough of them (areas) that I need to deal with it. Pic1: the abrasion is evident just above the reflection of the light, middle area. Pic2: series of lines. I've successfully used 3M Finesse It II to remove paint abrasions on a gelcoat boat hull, with a low speed buffer. Would Finesse It II be OK for this or something else?

Nearly the same thing with my Road Runner, just smaller scale. I've been looking for a fix too.

This happens alot with some of the newer "oily" rubbing compounds. They are supposed to break down as you use them to become a polish. The problem is that the oily polish fills the scratches for a couple hours or days if your luck then it evaporates out of the srcatches . THen you are left with clear that isnt buffed enough. We use the old school 3m perfect it II .

who ever mopped it , did not do it properly !!  & the oily  compound/wax just filled the flatting marks ,

luquid G3 or the 3m equliviant for get the number  , but has a white lid , its a fast cut one but not really corse  , don't use the trzack one  (spelling )

I like the 3M perfect it line too (3 steps). Either way try going back to your wool, if not then back to 3000 grit

Don't waste your time with finesse junk,it'll look good only for few days, and whatever you do stay away from wool pads.For the last 15-16 years I've been using nothing but Perfect-it II Rubbing Compound with great results,I managed to come up with a way to have nearly zero swirls even on dark colors with nothing more than the rubbing compound. The trick is to use a well broken in Meguiars Burgundy cutting foam pad at lowest speed on my Makita buffer.If you don't want to invest in buffer,pads,compounds, find a reputable detailer that knows what he's doing and let him take care of that

Thx for everyone's input.  If have a Makita 9227C and Lake Country CCS foam pads I used on my boat.  The CCS pads are designed for clear coats like the gelcoat on my boat.  I can do this...
