Whats the most economical way to stock up on shrink tubing and wiring.   Can shrink tubing be bought by the foot?  What about all the different colours and colours with tracers, or do we even worry about that?

Bob . . I have never considered stocking up on shrink wrapping for wires so . . . not sure about that.   Curious why do you need so much that you have to stock up?   :shruggy:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Well, I probably really don't need too.  I guess it's just because I don't like running out of the stuff when I need it, I hate getting nickel and dimeed for small packages of these things.  It's the same line of logic I use when I bought brake lines, I had a flaring kit I bought from Princess Auto (cheap Canadian store) so I figured I'd buy the steel lines in 20 or is it 25 foot lengths.  Cheaper that way.  Plus I wanted the satisfaction of doing it myself and learning it.  Even tho it took me a long time and some swearing.

And most obviously, there is going to be a sharp learning curve.  I'll probably do what I can move on and possibly get better at it and want to redo some stuff.

Considering life is short, I may just budget for a new harness and do the best I can with what I got.  Maybe this is why my garage is crowded............
