I doubt I've seen any of those advertised since the 80's in the back of an old car craft or hot rod.

More of a 3rd gen thing.

Your best bet is a set from a G-body Daytona, given the angle of the first gen's roofline. How wide is the 66-67 backlight? Obviously a few louvers will need to be cropped from the length, but it isn't terribly difficult to do. All the hardware can be removed from the front driver's hatch and affixed to your car with urethane.  For whatever it's worth, I cut a set down and tacked them together to mock up a rear louver for my car. It hit the scrap metal pile less than 10 minutes after it was "finished", as it completely destroyed the roofline. It was a hideous- looking abomination. No, I didn't even bother to take pics of it. I can't see that it would look much better on a first gen.

Interesting.............. :scratchchin:

I would think that the way the sides of the window curve upward, that you would have issues that would be hard to overcome and still make it look good.  Not saying it would be impossible, just can't picture how it would work.
It would help save the carpet from the sun.

I have louvers on my 2008 Challenger SRT and love the look, but some cars just don't lend themselves to the louver look.  You could contact Limited Parts out of Canada and get his input as he does do custom work, but he may be to busy with his line of louvers for the new Challenger, Camaro, original Challenger and Cuda, in addition to his (new) 1971 Charger louvers (his will be metal, unlike the factory plastic units).

I had thought about rear window louvers for my Daytona....but with the rear wing and all, it may be a bit over the top....even for a wingcar.(?)

By the way, Chrysler actually did wind tunnel tests on rear louvers, and they found that louvers actually add drag, and do not help the aero on cars...just saying......

Here's my take on that issue.....Chrysler also produced engines that got 3 Miles per gallon....But, we don't care, as long as they haul ass. :icon_smile_big:

I attempted to order them from J.C. Whitney waaaay back when I fiirst got my Charger in '84, they were advertised in their Catalog but i was informed they had were a "Discontinuted item".
Also a Model kit I had, the original 1968 MPC had rear window slats as a customising option but it only had four large slats that were quite a bit thinner (in plan view) toward the top. They were also flat not curved on the side as we are used to seeing on the E and later '71 B body designs. That plus sequencial rear turn signals were custom tricks I wanted to add to my car. I also wanted to louver the tops of the front fenders and radius the wheel wells.  :yesnod:

:scratchchin:   :scope:  :shruggy: those looks strange, in that the nearest side shows the little triangle bends where they curve while the far side shows them tucked neatly up against the glass,..  The geometry is way off...  :eek2:
Don't look too bad till the topmost slat... IMO.  :Twocents:
