Spent most of the day cooking with the wife and kids... by the time it was all done didn't have much energy left for all the eating.  :eek2: Had some food and drink and then started cleaning and making turkey soup.

Sitting on the couch next to the fire and watching some tube (what to call it now that it isn't a tube anymore?) felt oh so good.  :yesnod:

I was a bit bummed out... 7AM began the yearly "Turkey Day Burnout Contest". This year 100 cars showed up and smoldered their tires for a huge group...

Not me though.. I was up at 3:30 with the wife preparing to have 16+ people over at noon...

On the positive side, by 3:30 everyone was gone and the day was done!!

Even the sister inlaw made good this time, so I ate too much food. Being a "pig" is something I don't do very often.

Not this year, I've learned that if I overdo the food on Thursday, I pay for it on Friday.
