I don't have pics of my actual wheels yet since I'm a lazy ass and it's getting ready to snow so I'll use ripped off stock photos but...

I started with a set of the ever popular Torq Thrust II's with Radial TA's, black out but now I finally picked up a set of TTO's ( Torq Thrust Original) that I've also always wanted.
I'm not really sure yet which car I'm going to put these on but which do you guys like best on a '68 Charger?
Does anyone have pics of these on cars for comparison?
Please post me some pics!

TT-II has gotten over used. Every other car on the show field has them. Nice wheel, but somewhat boring now IMHO.

TT-O isn't a whole lot better.

Granted, it's hard to be original and maintain a vintage look.

Maybe should have added Cragars to the poll.  I also have a set of Magnums and Cragar S/S. The Cragars are on the 'X' and the Magnums are my spares that I put on the GTX in the Winter to protect the Cragars. Looks damn funny with little skinny magnums on it and a blower.

You reminded me, I was unaware that Welds were even still around. I like those!
As for the AR-200's, I originally wanted those but got a price quote much higher than the Cragar S/S - especially for the 15x10's so I  went with them although I do also like the Cragars, just a but less.
Never a huge fan of the Centerlines. Sort of like Keystones, just got burned out on them.

At one point I almost put Keystones on my Satellite. Those suckers are wicked-heavy, much like the Cragar S/S.

I never even knew you were looking at other wheels for that car.  What did it have, Magnums?  They aren't all that light either, at least compared to other offerings.
You used to have those American rims similar to the Torq Thrusts on your car.  What did they weigh and what do the rims you use now weigh?

The TT-0 is played out on all those 00-04 Rustangs.

Personally, I bought the Cragar street stars and luv 'em.

I voted for TT-O's. It depends on whether your car will be light or dark in color. I think the darker centers of the TT-O's look better on dark cars & the polished TT-2's look better on lighter cars.

I like Keystone's too, more than the Cragar S/S...I always have, even in the old days.
I used to think polished solid Centerline's were the poop back in the day, but have since changed my mind.
The Weld wheels look good, though.

Having said all that, I really like the American Racing Hoopster rims on Travis' latest score too.

If you like the satin look, Torque Thrust II's also come in satin...for me they look too "Rustang"...

Classic is good, Rallye, 200's, Keystones, Prostars...and Charger_Fan's right, the AR Hopsters on Travis' 69 are sweet.

Nice wheels huh Dave !   Yep, those are all made by the same manufacturer....I really like the 1st and 4th wheel. They are Budnicks. The #1 pic reminds me of a Weld Prostar....only a little more refined.

Yep they're pricey.....never have looked into the actual cost for a set. The arrowhead would look great on a plum car....might get those when i redo my 70 r/t.

I personally like the chrome plated torque thrust.They cost more but I think they look better than the alluminum versions.I can't stand when alluminum oxidizes,oxidized wheels can totally change the whole look of a car,and make it look downright UGLY!

All in all I like my choices so far, the Cragar S/S look old school as it did back in it's hey day although there are others around.
The TTO's look great on a first gen Barracuda race car - IF we can ever get the Charger moving along faster so we can get more serious. In the mean time we're just gathering tons of engine/trans and other misc parts including wheels.
I am thinking however of getting something else for the Charger now. Since we're feeling free to be more updated in the choices on it I'm thinking of those Pentacles or those Hancock wheels above. 

Hey it's only more money on the Charger and less for the Cuda project and less on the house.


I guess I can keep the TT-II's and sell them later, or trade for motor parts. I almost have enough for Eddy's in those wheels and tires.
( would have had Eddy's from Santa if we didn't replace the furnace)
