Hey, I'm in the process of building a mild 440, and was planning on a set of kb flat tops set 0.000"-0.005" in the hole. However, I might have a chance to get a set of lightly used 70 six-pack slugs--will they work fine on my stock smogger rods? does anybody know the compression height on the six pack set?

When it comes to a part like a piston only new is new......leave the "slightly used" stuff for someone elses gamble.  :Twocents:

These are the ones I just ordered Tues from Summit.  I believe they are the 6 pack replacements and sit .020 in the bore.
