Hello everyone. I have another wiring problem with my Charger. When I turn on the blinker, it doesn't blink, it just stays lit and this goes for both the left and right side front and rear. The green blinker indicator in the dash (rallye) stays lit as well and does not blink. I have changed all the fuses with correct amp measurements. What could the problem be? Any help is much appreciated! :)

Yep, there are 2 flashers under the dash.  One is for the emergency blinkers and the other for the turn signals.  One is usually on the passenger side, the other near the center.
Usually looks like this:

Thank you very much for the reply. I found the one near the centre and it is actually much taller in height than the one pictured but it is for the blinkers. When it comes to the one on the passenger side, is it possible that it is over the glove box container because I cannot find it anywhere.

Thank You

3rd gens have the turning flasher at a side of ashtray, being standart load kind... hazzards around brake pedal brakets area, being HEAVY DUTY... becarefull with this if you don't want to melt the hazards flasher plug... regular load it works for an emergency or check purpouse on hazzards, but don't use it as the final use unit

the next reason to keep pilot light on cluster lighing on is not enough load on blinkers sytem what it means blown bulbs OR unplugged. Posting this just for future references

Hello and thanks again for the replies. I purchased the circular shaped flasher unit and the left blinkers work but the right blinkers do not. I know everyone said there are 2 of these units, one for the left and one for the right but I am not sure which one is the right one. The one that I replaced was the unit in the centre under the dash. Can anyone tell me or upload a photo of what the other unit looks like? Is it also circular? I know you said it's near the brake but I'm not sure which one it is.

Thank You

They're not left and right.
One is for hazzard lights and the other for turn signals.
You have a seperate issue if only one side flashes.

both can be same shaped just one labeled as HEAVY DUTY. Round heavy duty units use to have a green stripe around. Original Heavy Duty units were squared though.

The one at center of dash frame works for both sides. If you don't have one or the other side you have another porblem beside the flasher.

Have you checked hazzard function ? is it working propperly

I just went out now and tested a few things. Left side works just fine.

Right side brake lights front and back don't work.
Right side blinkers front and back don't work.
Right side hazards front and back don't work.
Right side park lights front and back DO work.

Did you check all bulbs and clean all connections?

Nacho-RT74

steering column switch or related wires seems to be bad... to much casuality front and rears are bad... and is not a ground issue since parking lights shares same grounds than turning/brakes/hazzards

NOTE: there is not brake lights in front :P

Update: Got another flasher unit and now the back blinker works but the front one does not. I know the problem isn't a bulb in the front because the bulb comes on with park/head lights. My mistake about the "front" brake lights
All I know is the car had a minor issue with the blinkers when I sent it into the mechanic (they lit up VERY dimly) but when I got it back they stopped working altogether. He had the Rallye dash cluster out to bypass the ampmeter. Could this be a problem?

You guys have been very helpful and I'm grateful!

Nacho-RT74

there is no sense on the flasher replacement and one side coming to work suddenly... you must have loosen wires and plugs that when playing around makes contack under the dash. Check the plugs down the steering column. Turning switch is specifically the thin plug, usually some blueish

parking and blinking functions are two diff filaments inside the bulb. One can be working, but not the other. In fact you can get blown one of them and bulb still working on the unblown filament, whatever function are there.

bypass ammeter won't affect unless is loosen too, but once again, everything will fail

I have found the problem and fixed it. The whole front right blinker assembly was bad. I was lucky enough to have an extra one, installed it, and now all the lights work fine. Thank you everyone for your help and input. Have a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!  :2thumbs:

Nacho-RT74

nice!, but check plugs anyway... one side rears shouldn't came back suddenly to life just changing flasher... they are all or none.

Merry Christmas too
