Do you think Mopar fans are more inclined to have more than one Mopar musclecar than fans of other makes?

I have two and am looking for # three. That way I have at least one on the road at all times. ;)

Here's my other Charger. Should be ready for paint by Christmas, even if it doesn't actually get painted.

Does anyone hold the opinion that Chevy or Ford fans or whoever are just as inclined to have several?

BIGBLCK11

Coming from a GM family, including 2 1935 Fords with small block chevys in them.  The more the better!  It's just a matter of, if you can afford them and have the room, not the make.  I LOVE THE MOPARS, but appreciate lots of other muscle cars.  :Twocents:

Got 7 and can't part with any of them. Even to the point of selling one or two to fund the restoration of one of the remaining ones.

SRT-68

I have never owned anything but multiple Mopars for the last 32 years. We now have the SRT-68, 1955 Dodge pick up, 2006 Ram, 2007 SRT8 300.
Here in LA CA space is hard to come by and that limits the number of cars you can have. That fact alone has likely saved my marriage.

That's my problem, too.

I did however, sell the '71 Barracuda last year knowing I'm in over my head with projects. If I had more indoor storage I may have kept it, but I don't know for sure. I hated having one car lay around outside getting worse, so I decided to sell the Barracuda to free up a space in the garage for it.

A few of my friends have multiple cars other than Mopars, so I wouldn't say it's a Mopar specific issue. One guy had a '66 Impala & a '63 Corvair. Another guy had a '66 Chevelle, a '66 Lemans Sprint, & a '69 SS Chevelle. Another guy I know changes cars like socks & has a '72 340 Duster, a '62 Impala, a '66 GTO, & another 2 or 3 cars that I forget.

It's bad when you're not even sure you have anymore.  I think it's six first gen Chargers, a 67 Coronet convertible, 05 Rumblebee, 06 RT Daytona, and my bride's 08 SXT Charger; all up and running.  This doesn't include my son's 06 or 66 Chargers or my nephews or brothers cars.  It's out of control I tell you.  I've parted at least 13 first gens and a few Coronets.  I think I can build a first gen Charger without buying anything.  Right now it's nothing but Dodge in the garage.

Ive never had more than two, with the Bird finally started on the road to getting back on her feet I should soon have two worthy MOPARS. I didnt have the GTX long before it was stolen and I hadnt had the R/T that long before I grenaded the Bird motor. That GTX was the best car I ever owned...just get in and go anytime / everytime!

I got the 69 and 73....My wife has an '02 Intrepid and we got a beater '99 Neon as a spare vehicle. I got an '01 S-10....oddball Chevy of the bunch.

Wanting another classic though....been thinking about selling off the 73 to finish off the 69, and if I have any $$$ left over, finding an A-body project....been wanting an A body for a long time. Like to have a 67-69 Dart or Barracuda, 71-72 Demon or 70-74 Duster.

Definitely a car guy thing more than a Mopar guy thing.

I had at one time a big block four speed Nova, a big block / Th400 Camaro, A big block 1 ton crew cab dually, a big block lifted 4X4 Chevy pick up, and a small bock Olds Cutlass. (the Olds was a 10" tunnel ram , dual quad, nitroused small block with a full manual reverse pattern Th400)

Of the five cars, three had roll cages and four were big block cars. All Chevy. I know Ford guys the same way.

I'm here because I want to sell my Nova and buy a late '60's B-body Mopar. I'd love to have another Charger. I used to have two '70's. I'm into Corvettes too. Right now I have a '90 and I'm looking at a '69 as well.

Cool, I have had a few Novas. My wife had a 70 when I met her. I ended up trading it for an old truck I needed for a job. I also had a really nice 68 I that I sold when I was advertising a Riviera.  :brickwall: I restored my wife a 70 Cutlass and when I mentioned getting rid of it to get her a Nova she said no. Maybe when I start her 68 Cutlass convertible I can sell it and get one someday.....but I would just rather sell both and get another mopar though. desisions desisions

Right now I own (Keep in mind, all of these heaps wouldn't even come close to what some here have invested in just ONE ride, but are nowhere near as nice either), a 1970 Ford Maverick, a 1958 Plymouth, a 1969 Dodge Charger, a 1968 Dart, a 1970 Challenger, a 1966 plymouth, a 1983 Dodge Truck...

For me at least, every time I feel I REALLY need to sell one off in order to keep some kind of Stability to my madness, I get lowballed by some idiot that thinks all my time and effort isn't worth paying for...They all seem to be stuck in the $3500-$4500 range round here for whatever reason..."Um, Ok, you want the engine and trans correct?"...

If I sold off one or more to me, it would feel like I was selling one of my kids or something...I just can't see someone else "Having their way" with "My kid" I took care of all these years. That, or simply "pimping" it out to the highest bidder and it gets tossed around like a party favor until someone finally strips her of everything and gives her a painful, slow, antagonizing death at the hands of the crusher I saved her from 20 plus years before...

you wont hear any knocks from me....deep down Im a Ford guy! I was heavy into fords before I decided they were too popular for me. Got tired of seeing other Mustangs everywhere. when I was 19 i had a '67 Fastback with a transplanted 302 - '71 Torino GT with a 351C - and my prize was the '69 Mach1 with a 428CJ. I felt like a king being that young and having my choice of three cool cars. I wrecked the CJ...sold the '67 to my uncle and traded the Torino in on some reliable daily transportation. :brickwall:
I got bored with no muscle to cruise in, so I started looking and then a coworker turned me onto wing cars. :o
