Hey gang..
I was curious if anyone knows a discount online outlet for basic white garage wall cabinets. I don't have any other pictures other than this one. You can see the white cabinets I have hanging towards the left rear.. I got those from Lowes.. But, being that I want to get a lot more, would like to find a discounter.
I'm looking to get all the shelves out of there and install cabinets for storage..

I've got Gladiator cabinets that I bought at a couple outlets, including Sears.  I got most of them as dented or scratched or on sale so I didn't pay more than $100 for any of them.  I cost about 1/3 of what the garage stores would have charged.  The dents don't show when they are hanging on the wall.  I bought the wall mounting hardware online through ABT electronics for a lot less than I could find anywhere locally.

If you got the ones you have from Lowes I'd approach a manager there and tell them you want to buy X number of cabinets and want a 20% discount to spend your money at Lowes. Don't tell 'em you got the ones you have from them or they may feel they have you over barrel. All they could say is either "No" or "we'll take 10% off the total price". Worth a shot.

I agree with the Lowes deal...they have ones that they make themselves and you finish. So you could paint the cabinets white once you hang them or spray before hanging. They are pretty nice and they are under $100 a piece. Or check a store like one here that sells cabinets that are taken out of remodels. Habit for Humanity store and they are cheap...as long as you don't care if the doors match you could get some killer deals. (just redo the doors)

Have you thought of making your own? A cabinet isn't too hard to make and if you use pre-cut wood just nailing & bracing is all you need to do. :Twocents:

Got any friends in Contracting or Real Estate? Bend their ear for any Kitchen remodels. If you are set on getting the same cabinets for consistency sake sounds like you should at least try the Lowes approach. Several building supply places around here sell off canceled orders for cheap too.

I would just make them but then again I have a reasonably sized wood shop. If you keep the doors and face frames simple (or remove them) you can make them fast and inexpensively.

Depending on how pickey you are you can talk to a cabinet shop about old ones being replaced on jobs. A carpenter I know had a bunch given to him for hauling them off. Then you can paint them. I rehung my old ones from my kitchen in my garage when I remodeled.
