yeah, it was definitely a plane contrail, they always start at about 100 feet off the ground and go up from there, don't you know about the runway off the coast of catalina island..........................

There are/were Nike missile silos in my town, but they have all been filled in by now. Or so we think...

i heard they were converting those silos into rich peoples apartment buildings or something.

They converted the ones by me into fields, fill them with dirt and cover with grass. There are however some old barracks and building that are being used for other things. We had the silos because we were strategically close to NYC, some of our missile could have had nuclear warheads too.

i'm not sure the ones in MO have been converted or closed, they still have the 10 foot fence with razor wire around them........................

There used to be some south of S.F. that open field is still there, unused but development has grown up all around it...

Theres still a lot of  old Nike missile batteries up in Marin, behind Mount Tamalpais. Ground to air defense.....
