So, what's wrong with it? I can't imagine anyone here "saving" that car before the current owner modified it. One wheel is probably worth more than the entire car. It's a 4 door boat with a rapidly shrinking fan base. I say: let people tear up the cars no one really wants and leave the rare/desirable ones alone.

 Really?.. Troy you have to ask?.. What's wrong with it is it hurts my eyes and offends my delicate sensibilities.

The Color Combo for one, Red and Yellow pretty much never work together,.. A lot of these kinds of Hooptie Ghetto,..    sorry Ghetto Hoopties.   seems to follow the pattern, of having the oversized chromed Donks, elevated ride hight as if in response to the Lowrider scene, ("I'm gonna show those Latinos what a real Car is!") and a really awful two tone paint job, the amount of money spent is ridiculous especially if you figure the interior work,.. So, the Seller Gets his Pimped out ride exactly how he envisioned it and decided to sell?.. Maybe he cleaned up got a job (other then delivering pizza) and figures he really wants to have another car cause this one don't quite suit his personality anymore,.. Or Maybe he can't make the payments on his Visa,..
But I'm trying to imagine the fella who would say,.. "That's Exactly What I've been Looking For!"

I have a 67 newport and a 67 newport custom, both 4 door cars. Thats just brutal. Some people like the land yachts,  To each their own but that is messed up.

And the "customs" from the 70s (or 80s and 90s) were different how? Personal expression in the form of a vehicle. Everyone here has something on (or done to) their car that someone else doesn't like. That's what makes each of us unique. Again, I'd prefer to see crazy/wild modifications done to cars that aren't rare or in high demand. If the owner of a car followed through on their vision, put in the time and effort, and are proud of what they've done then I think it's neat and enjoy hearing the stories. This is why I'd rather talk to the owner of a beat up old truck at a cruise-in before anyone who just drove their car in from off the lot (with window sticker still attached). Sure, there are cars that I don't particularly care for but I just pass on by.

Geez, we went for a long time without a lot of threads bashing other people's cars but it seems like we've been getting a lot lately. I bet we could scour the internet for cars we don't like and really fill out this section...

i agree with Troy, there is a guy in my complex who has a Donked  el camino, not my thing but then again i was frowned on for wanting to put a blower through the hood of my 74 RR.  at least they are putting money into old cars is my thought although i have to agree the color combo doesn't do anything for me, and i'm a chiefs fan, i think the monte looks fairly good though...

theres quite a few donks hereabouts, and in their defense I have to say the guys driving them are usually having a pretty good time. I am happy to see any sort of weird car stuff happening, so donks are ok with me.
