i'm currently still using my FLOCK which i really like and know where everything is (well, everything that i use) and of course have all my favorites listed for the things i like to go to.
everytime i go to youtube they keep wanting me to update my browser, which, other than i hate internet explorer, i don't really care about.  what i'm worried about is losing all the favorites links that i'v found over the years as soon as the new browser takes over.  Does it magically keep my favorites???

Not sure of your browser, but in explorer, you can select the Favorites drop down menu, right click on each favorite and select properties. There you will see the url for the Favorite.
Copy and paste each favorite url into a spreadsheet so you can retrieve them if you need to after updating your browser.

chances are more browsers won't import directly from FLOCK, but you can export them and import them into a new browser.

you mean like save it in a seperate file/folder and then send that file/folder to the new browser???

it would take me hours to copy and paste each individual url so the web page comes up then save it to the new browser favorites

How many pages are in your favorites?

You can go under your Favorites manager and export the favorites as an HTML file. Not sure of the terminology that Flock uses, but Firefox calls it 'organize bookmarks' under the bookmark item on the toolbar. Just export the HTML file to someplace you can find it; then it won't matter if the update automatically imports them or not. Once you update the browser, just reverse the process and import the HTML file to your favorites.

ok, so it seems possible to do
flock doesn't do pages, its just a damn long single file listing
so now, what browser does everyone else use??
guess i'll go back to the first post and see if i can put in a poll to keep the responses in one place

So is it possible to have two different browsers setup simultaneously?
I've never tried anything other than IE on my PC

Yes, you can have as many different browsers as you like. However, Internet Explorer likes it if you only have one version of it installed at a time. Firefox and Google Chrome are nice. I haven't really tried anything beyond those as they do everything I need.

Rockmelt... That sounds like something they would give you at the emergency room when you get one of those 4 hour erections they warn you about if you take Cialis.  :o
