Yes but can I paint over that with bb/cc later down the line?

It's urethane so yes you can put urethane base/clear over that. Personally I'd wait and get it painted right first time around.
I was thinking just shooting my 68 flat black but figured why not get it done right first time. Besides you don't want too much paint build up, stacking paint job on top of another paint job. It'll be prone to rock chipping.

I've been thinking about the black primer stuff from Eastwood's line of products, someone did an exposure test and it held up well.

Using urethane paint (2K) that way it won't fade
