Anybody know this Hemi Daytona in Newfoundland?

Saw this on a model car forum, the guy says he is located in St. Johns Newfoundland......


"Here's the 69 Daytona my father's owned for the last 25 years. It's a numbers-matching 49,000 mile hemi car with the original tranny, both of which were freshed up a bit back in '85 when he purchased the car for $6800 bucks. Interior is 100% original with the exception of the freshened up tic toc tach. Due to some personal issues, along with a lack of space, the car has spent the last ten years of its life inside of this garage on top of a car trailer. However since last fall, some things have been touched up and parts have been ordered, and we're looking to get this car back to showroom quality, and maybe even out into fresh air. Basically, it's never too late for a father-son project. "

There are a lot of things inside the engine compartment that have been changed, but it's still an awesome car.

I wasnt trying to knock the car at all......I was simply pointing out that it has the ribs. My clone also has the ribs,and Ive heard that some but very few real Daytona had the ribs.


As for the interior shot. Yeah that really shows on this car. Easily repaired though.

I know of alot of real daytona's running around with 70 replacement hoods on them

Yeap, some times you gotta do whatcha gotta do............. A lot of these cars were brought back to life in the 80's when most people didn't even notice the ribs...  It's an awesome car.
