This '70 440 6 pack R/T has been on my local Craigslist since atleast early September or even longer. It looks to be built in December 1969 based on that picture of the door sticker.

"This is the real deal V-code Charger very, very rare . Numbers match motor is gone but comes with a 70 440 hp motor in it . Car still has the dana rear and 727 torqueflight trans and 6 pac intake with the carbs , car is complete just needs resto . This car will need a trunk pan , rear tail panel and the lower quarter panels , also has rust at bottom of doors . this is an ideal car for a bodyman or collector . This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a Charger of this magnitude , they just arent around for sale . I found 2 for sale on carsonline.com and they are asking $95000.00 each restored , Wow ! I have the Galen Govier documentation to prove it,s real and rare . No time wasters or looky loo's"

A little heavy but...  It would be nicer of course if it still had the original block but it is certainly rare and desirable.  As desirable as a Hemi Charger in 70 in my opinion although others may not agree.

The only thing the R-code '70 has going for it is sheer numbers in the fewer direction over a V-code.. I agree, '70 V-code Charger R/T's are awesome........

Hmm, I know Shawn McClean and I just saw him a couple of weeks ago and the bugger never said a word to me about Chargers. :flame:
