Was there a warning sticker on Daytonas and Superbirds that read "Warning! Do not roll down window past speeds of 140 mph" I believe I have seen this sticker before and I was wondering who sells them.
Thanks

It's an aftermarket thing and you can find them at just about any swap meet and a lot of flea markets.  It was never a factory thing.

Thanks for the reply! If anyone knows where I can purchase online, please let me know.
Thanks! :2thumbs:

 I have to admit though that I know a couple of people who just detest the "remove before flight" tags.

Sure. On Military aircraft, or Fighter Jets, there are numerous items such as pins in the landing gear, or covers for sensors, or even arming switches that have bright orange/red streamers on then that are there to remind ground crew that these items need a little bit of attention before the Pilot can take the aircraft out for a flight.
For instance, an intake cover might have a streamer that being bright red in color, would serve as a reminder that you have to remove it on a pre-flight walk around, before the engine is started.
I've seen intake covers sucked into an engine....and it ain't pretty.

Now why they are on cars? Well, you can see how Aero-cars are basically a ground-bound Fighter Jet...so it goes hand in hand.

I know the origins of the flags....dont get the car connection!

On the street a wingcar is no faster than anything else with the same drivetrain.

Th original owner of my 67 put one on the console. It's still there. It's more of a plate than a sticker.

In high school I had a plaque on the dash of my 69 Chevelle SS396 that said:

GET IN
SIT DOWN
SHUT UP
and
HOLD ON

I've seen several other variations.
