Our new pet

Well,when i met my girlfriend she made it very clear to me she wanted a cat.She said: "no cat,no me".I personally never really cared so much for cats,i like dogs more.
But yesterday i gave her a little cat for her birthday.Her name is Iep.Let me say that there was no threatening involved from here side,i just thought she deserved it because she's had a rought time lately.

Cute kitten.  Now let me tell you about my cat.  My cat pees all over the house and sometimes poops.  I was in the bathroom the other day and he pooped on my floor rug of which I stepped in it.  
If he is not peeing and pooping on our rugs in the house he throws up a lot.  Problem is my wife says he is old and one of the family and we have to deal with it, except I am the only one emptying the cat litter and picking up the poop or trying to clean piss areas.  
Yeah, enjoy the kitten.

It's a cat...not a kid. My wife said something similiar about her dog, but after it barfed on her new shirt it got marching orders. The dog ended up at her parents to explode poop on there carpet. We now have a cat and he is fun, kids love messing with him & he has tackled our son a few times. Yep I plan on telling him how a cat put him on his back when he gets older.

Cute.  They're great company.  We have 3.
Many peole thing cats just sleep and keep to them selves.  But I firmly believe most of them are very people like.  The more attention you pay to them, the friendlier they are and more time they'll spend with you.
If you ignore them, they respond much the same way.

Cats are VERY spiteful Rob...what have you done to it to deserve that? 

Cats are also clean freaks....if their litter box isnt kept clean they will go elsewhere.   I can also agree that age does play a part in their demeanor as well as their general overall health.  My cat is almost 20 years old now.  When she was sick (urinary tract infection) she would seemingly go everywhere but her box....not purposely but because they cant hold it when they are sick.  Get your cat checked out Rob, this might be the problem

We over here in Holland call her IEP,it's pronounced in the Englisch language YP.My girlfriend came up whit this name,because she saw a cat named like this on a website for animals asylum.
Btw,Iep is really doing fine,no shitting outside of her box from the first day we've got her. But now she's starting to discover everything in my house,and i have to watch her every minute while i'm at home,because if i'm not,she will destroy everything  When i walk through the house,she's trying to attack me,but that's all part of the raising i guess..I try to teach her not to do stuff like that,so in a while we should be oke.
