I am thinking of buying some custom wheels in 18" and would like to know what the tallest tire that would fit on a 69 charger without worrying about rubbing. Also what would be the best offset?
Im thinking 18x10 for the rear with 5" offset and 18x8 with 4.5" offset.
Due to a few back surgeries I want a smooter ride with the taller tires.

I'm sure a 29" tall tire will fit  :yesnod:, I'm using a 28" tall, 15" rim, 10" wide but I'm using a 5 1/2" back space on the rear and I still a little more clearance in the wheel well.
68 Charger, slowly in the works, 451 c.i. approx. 535 hp @ the flywheel, so far best time in the 1/4
11.21 @ 119 mph, full exhaust, stock suspension, 4:10s @ 3640 pounds.

WHITE AND RED 69

Im running 18x8 up front with 4.75" backspace with a 245/40 tire and 18x10 with 5.5" with a 285/40. With no rubbing or fitment issues.
