It isn't so.  The Daytona was not made in Japan, it's appendages all serve a function, and it has an actual performance legacy.
As opposed to running around town with stickers, neon lighting under the car, being driven by some punk ass Vin Diesel wannabe listening to gangsta rap and highlighting the entire thing with a symphony of noise coming from the fart can out back.
