Hydroboost with Power Steering Cooler: Opinions Please!!

I'm hoping for some help from other members that also have Hydroboost systems installed in their cars.

In the short time I've driven my car, I've noticed that the power steering pump gets very hot to the touch. The Hydroboost unit is plumbed correctly, & I do not see any obstructions or kinks in the lines. The booster unit gets a little warm, which I would think is normal. But the pump gets pretty hot.
Is it a must to run a cooler? Hydratech states it is not on their website.

Any opinions on this??
Thanks!
