Anyone ever find a source for a new parking brake spring?

Have a 72.  The spring that snaps the parking brake pedal back into position after I pull the release lever is broken.
I am seeking a replacement.  Searched high and low and no luck thus far.
Any suggestions?

Thank you.

You sure it's the spring broke and not the grommet that retains the spring?
Gotta love a '69

It's not the spring on the brake release lever itself, it's the spring that pulls the entire pedal assembly forward and holds it tight against the brake light switch and the rubber bumper....

That B body spring isn't listed separately in the parts book so there is no part number to search for. You'll have to match the spring by size and length at your local hardware store or:

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thank you for this source.  I will search it and see if I can find something.
