Hello everybody. I chose a new name because I  Bought this 65 Belvedere. I used to be Urbansblack69 on the old board. I also am in the process of selling my Charger.      It is a Belvedere II with a 426 street wedge, auto, Superstock springs, frame rails are tied together, and the car is very solid.  It is not a Charger but it is such a cool car. I won't be Chargerless though. My son has a 73 we are working on and I hope to find a 68 someday.(my favorite)  Here are some pics. It is good to be back.

It is kind of a survivor with only one repaint, a long time ago. It only has 52,000 miles on it. Most of it put on a quarter mile at a time. The story goes that it was a race car for a long time. Fortunately, it was never cut up. It has manual steering and brakes.   The car drives great. It is realy tight. It needs a set of gears though. It has a 2:76 open diff in it. It really moves down the freeway but I am not into the top end thing.   I can't believe the attention that it gets on the street. It is really a cool ride.

Nice car! A good friend of mine just sold a '65 Belvedere at Carlisle, original 383 4-speed car, because he had just picked up a '63 Sport Fury that he's making a Max Wedge clone out of. Pics attached of each!

Cool.   I like them more and more everytime I see them.

I gotta post the pics of my friend Ron's '65 that came out of the shop before my car did.   Finally saw it about a month ago.  I'll try to find them when I get home.    He's sporting a 440 from Lou Vignona these days.

Found the pics of Ron's ride from last month    -  It was around dusk.   It's pretty nice.  He spent some good $ at Legendary for a new interior and all.   Not bad for a $2500 old Vignona racecar.

Anyway, good luck with yours!!!   Don't forget you have that funky 65 only K frame to give you some grief trying to fit headers and the like.

The Charger is still for sale. There is a guy driving up from columbus to look at it tomorrow. If it does not sell, I will take it to the nats. I should have no problem selling it there.
