Which color for my interior

I have a B-5 blue 73 charger with a similar color blue interior.  I'm looking to get the interior panels updated, but don't know which to get:  bright blue or lagoon blue.  Unfortunately my tag on the fender is long gone.  The vendor suggests bright blue for 71/72 and lagoon for 73/74.  Is this correct?  Are they basically the same color with different names or are they different?  If different, which looks better?  Can anyone submit pictures of either or both?  I'd love to see samples before I buy the wrong color.  Any help is much appreciated.

b5blue

My 70 has/had b5blue body and "brite blue metallic" inside, samples can be had for the asking from Legendary Interiors. These two colors are very close.  :2thumbs:

I agree.  I have seen B5 with white.  Mine is an SE with a white vinyl top and window louvers.  My interior is already blue.  I'm trying to decide between bright blue and lagoon blue.

Legendary.  I'll take a look at their website.  Thanks.

Rallye

I had a '74 SE with all original Lagoon Blue interior, I thought it was a '74 only color, but I could be wrong.  Anyway, I've seen them side by side, and the two blues are very different in my opinion.  Lagoon Blue is more of a medium blue, where Bright Blue is very bright.  I wish I had pictures to show you, but all my SE pics were lost in a computer crash a few years ago.  I suggest ordering some samples to be absolutely sure.

b5blue

Good description, in my post I mean that Brite and B5 are very close. Having read here some where that the "shade" of B5 changes from year to year some samples for your year are the way to go.   :2thumbs:

I have heard about different shades of B5 too.  I think, like you all have suggested, getting samples would be my best bet.  I was hoping for pictures, but seeing it in person is much better. Thanks for your advice.

My 71 has the bright blue interior and it is B-R-I-G-H-T!!!  The interior is original, but in my opinion the med blue or lagoon blue would look nice.  If you're going the non original route, I don't think you can beat the white.

I loved my Blue interior ( bright blue ) but since allmost imposible try to find blue interior parts in decent conditions, went to white. Not EASIEST but easier to find than blue

I think samples are definitely the way to go.   I have one vendor telling me I should use lagoon blue and another telling me to use bright blue.  I have samples heading my way.

if you ask me, brigth looks better
