Finally got the grille for my 68 today. Its in pretty good overall shape, a couple small cracks, but its all there. Dang box it came in was about as big as a refridgerator.

At least yours was packed in a big box. When I got mine a couple years ago, it was packed in a cardboard box about the same size as the grille...with a little newspaper thrown in. :rotz: It had holes punchesd in both ends from being banged around, I was scared!

When I opened it, it was only broken in one small easily repaired spot. WHEW!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

ya mine came in cardboard and has small piece broken off and guy who shipped it had to bend that metal brace in middle, mine is pretty rusty and lots of cracks but in pics looks much better
