I literally stopped reading it after the 4th paragraph.

Things like "this should satisfy the charger gods" and the author suggesting for those that believe it's not faithful enough to the 2nd gen that they should buy the Challenger.

There's more but you get the idea.

Ghoste

I stopped reading C&D a long time ago.  From your description there seems no reason to try again.  :shruggy:

I used to subscribe to all the car mag's. Now just Hot Rod as they touch a wide variety of all the car fields and types.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Silver R/T

I never really read any of those magazines. Why would you read someone else's opinion, does it really matter to you? Especially when someone's paying them for their "5 star" review.

Figures.  Thanks, I'll skip it.

I remember in 2005 or 2006, when Dodge was getting hate mail in the bazillions of letters, one exec, I think it was Creed, stated: "If you want a '69 charger, go buy one, they're still available".

Those kind of responses and the whole "the challenger IS the two door charger" comments are why the 2011 now looks the way it does, 'cause they jsut pissed people off even more by saying that.

Let's face it, even if Dodge builds a proper 2 door retro charger, and it's the real deal, hooa hooa car it should be and it sells well, they will never live down what they have done, ever.  Just like that "fine Corinthean leather"...........
