I dug this list up. I love that the number one car is the super rare 67 camaro ZL-1.Gotta love the Hemi Cuda picture.

I thought the ZL1 didn't come along until 69?

I think it's a misprint.  The car in the pic is definitely a 67 but the source for it's road test is an issue of Super Stock from February 1969.  Y3, I note the Hemi Cuda pic is an AAR, the Road runner and GTO look a little off too.  Some impressive times though.

Worked for me

The COPO ZL1 motor was only put in two cars, the 69 camaro and 69 Corvette. 69 camaros were produced and 2 corvettes. That motor was built to compete in can am racing in 69, they didn't even have that aluminum block motor in 67.

What about the factory built race cars sold to the public?(with a valid NHRA drivers liscence) Hemi cudas, thunderbolt, etc. They weren't street legal but it would be cool to see times from those cars. They would still be muscle cars.

Well - for a site listed as musclecar "FACTS" it's shows the wrong year and models of most of the cars listed, besides that there's alot wrong with the cars pictures obviously just grabbed off the net at random... I'll stay away and not waste my time further... Thanks for that...  :slap:

The only way a Boss 9 would do a 12 is if Sox or Landy tied it to their rear bumper. That was a dog of a street car......I would take one anyway!

how did the challenger have a 6.3 second 0-60 and then beat cars that had it by .8 seconds?

2012 370Z NISMO - Courtney
1979 Corvette L-82 - Lilly
1969 Dodge Charger R/T Clone - Vanessa

Most of the guys who wrote those road tests back in the day have pretty much come clean on making up stuff so their magazine looked better than the one across the street.

Yeah, it that ain't enough, check out the '69 500 and Wing Car Production Nos. most of that crap was just cut and pasted from different sources, with little regard for the truth,.. be they "Facts" or otherwise.  :smilielol:
