Does anyone know the going rate on 20 feet of 4" channel?
The best I'm finding here is about $55.00, is that about right?

Still can't get a decent answer for diamond plate.

I think we pay about $25 or so at work. But we order steel once a year in a 40 ton or so quantity. The more bought, the cheaper it is.

The price of steel should be between $ .30 - $ .40 per pound. Also depends on what channel section you are buying (MC or C). Let's say a C 4 X 7.25 weigh's 7.25 lbs per foot x 20' = 145 lbs x let's say $ .35/lbs = $ 50.75 +/-.

I paid $50 for a 2x2, 1/4' wall, 22' length of tubing for my rotisserie..

Old MoPars in salvage yards are finding their way to the crushers because the price of scrap is going up!

So multiply it by 3.

WELL LET ME BE MORE CLEAR lets say you as a normal (I use the term loosely) Person pay $100.  I pay one third (1/3) therefore I would pay $33.....  That help
