I had to bribe my daughter to go with me today to take some pix by some trees that are about to lose their leaves.  It's suppose to rain for the next week, so time was running out.  I told her for $10 I'd have her move my wheelchair around & if needed carry the camera.

First place we stopped at were some really beautiful red trees but they were on a thoroughfare.  So I set the monopod up to her liking telling her whereabouts to stand & away we went.  I bought her a little compact digital 3 years ago for Christmas & she's used my SLR a couple times.

To say I was surprised by the quality of her shots is an understatement.  After that first stop we'd get some where I'd like & I'd explain to her where I'd like her to shoot from & she did the rest.  Of course my mug & the wheel to my chair in the front seat is some times in the shots.  Out of 130 pix I deleted 18 cause for whatever reason they were blurry.  Several of the shots we committed a cardinal sin with the trees in the background but when you're trying to incorporate the beauty of the changing leaf colors it's hard not to.

I'd say she earned her $10.

Yeah, down there @ Columbia Industrial Park.  They lined all the streets in various strains of Maple.

I really like this time of year in the Pacific Northwest.

The pics turned out great.
I love that shade of red. It's Porsche Tornado red.  I painted my son's 70 Challenger that color when he was 16 years old.

I sold the A66 Challenger last year local.  It went to BJ.

I initially was after Larry's (hotrod98) Dayclona car but Alan put a deposit down before I had a chance to act.  With me not working my wife has really tightened the purse strings.  I always liked his 'cuda so it was the consolation prize.  

I repainted the motor, replaced the valve covers, hoses/belts & this winter will see what it takes to get the inner fenders to shine.  If not, I'll attempt to repaint them.  Also repainted the go wing & added eye brow front spoilers all myself.  I had to do some thing to personalize it even though I'm still just a checkbook writer.  /Cooter
