Cool, there is almost a twin to it here only with a white top.  Someone from the Navy Weopons Station has it with Fla. tags.

The truck is a survivor as well, save for the addition of a headliner insert and the wheels. I couldn't find anyone local to put new tires on the split-rim originals. When I do I'll have them painted and keep them for shows etc.

So if they came on it originally you would be better off leaving them on I would think, plus the paint probably was marred a bit when they installed them.  I agree though they just don't look right.

Was there a code for these or are they some dealer add on?
