Any updates. These PA winters are the best time to get projects done.
The motor compartment is in primer. We were gonna paint Monday but it snowed.  :brickwall: I'm waiting on a call from the machine shop . I have some pics I have to resize and post.
Not sure what part of PA your in but here in North Central PA we got about 10 inches Sunday night after all the snow and ice had melted last week with all the warm weather we had. I'm ready for the white stuff to end already.

Looking forward to seeing the new photos.

No more bad news. Just a little joke from the guys. They were standing there giggling like little girls. Thought they could get a rise out of me.

Still a little stiff and sore. But, I haven't had a migraine since the surgery.  :2thumbs:  Thanks for asking.

A friend of mine just had the same surgery a few months.  He was told that if he didn't he was in danger of paralysis if he got into any sort of accident.  He is doing fine.  I am glad you came through it okay.

The Chally looks great.  Sorry about the scope creep.  You will be happy you did it right though.  I'd love to see some shots of the engine compartment after paint.

I am suffering the same scope creep with my 73 Charger.  Engine seemed good, but needed to rebuilt the tranny.  Rebuilt the tranny and the engine had low oil pressure.  Mechanic threw in some motor flush.  Did nothing.  Then had to drop the pan and replace the clogged oil pickup.  I had him put a new oil pump in for good measure.  I finally got the car back in October and was able to drive if for the first time after I bought it in July.  I noticed that the idle was really high when I pulled into my driveway.  I popped the hood and adjusted the idle.  With the idle set properly I could here the steady "thump" of a bad bearing (probably due to the motor flush).  I bought a "rebuilt" 340 off ebay for $1000.  Nice new heads, paint and exterior parts.  Pulled the heads and the cylinder walls showed a rash from rust and hadn't even been properly honed.  It is at the machine shop as I type.  He may get to it in May  :brickwall:  Oh...and the bad u-joint in my 8.25 turned out to be a loose crush sleeve, so I am pitching that for a 8.75 with 4.11's in it that I mailed a check for today.  I just have to wait for the snow to melt before he pulls it and I can collect it.
