A long over due update. The motor compartment is getting painted my friend Jimmy offered to come over to sand and paint.   :2thumbs:

71ChallengeHer

Rod sent the block out to be cooked. We couldn't get all the spot leak out.

71ChallengeHer

7 out of 8 bearings were bad.

71ChallengeHer

Rod and Jimmy hard at work.

71ChallengeHer

The crank will be 10 under and the block 30 over.

71ChallengeHer

The bearing mess  :eek2:

71ChallengeHer

Radiator support almost repaired. Jimmy drives his Challenger.  :icon_smile_big:

71ChallengeHer

I was working too.

Coming along nicely Jackie.  But I don't see you in any of the pics.  I think everyone else did the work and youre taking the credit.   :smilielol:

When some dumb ass( the jerk I bought it from ) keeps putting spot leak in because the freeze out plugs were bad. Oh, it's still leaking , dump some more in.  :shortbus:  :slap: I really meant this  :nutkick: The back half of the motor was plugged up with stop leak. It was gettingt hot as hell.

Im still shocked that your temp gauge did not show how hot the motor was getting.  I would check into having your gauge checked or at least calibrated!!!!!!
