It's a car that was built for a single purpose, to haul ass. Plymouth's Road Runner – when it was first introduced and all the way until its second generation complete redesign for the 1971 model year – never offered a small block. Your choices were three: Chrysler's B-Block 383, the RB-440 (with the optional 440 Six-Pack first appearing on the mid-year A12 Road Runner 440 Six-Barrel, and, of course, the 426 HEMI)...
