I took some picts of their silver one a few years ago at the Mopar Nats in Columbus in '05. I can't recall if the red one was theirs or not... :shruggy:

That red one is mine - the Malcolm's are such nice people and I couldn't resist the urge to get the three Daytona's together for a quick photo shoot (By three I mean shortly after these pic's were taken they lined up their red/black wing car next to mine).

Boy I had to look at the # twice! I have the sheet for 409030, a T5 auto (same as 409029). Maybe someday it will surface.

Bob bought my Richard Petty Nascar Charger years ago in the 80's. They are funny. When we met they did a little rold play to get the price down. I knew it was planned by I went with it. They are nice people. The silver Daytone they stole! It was cheap like 29k.

I remember when they bought that silver Daytona. I never asked Bob but I remember at the Mopar Nationals everyone was talking about how cheap he got it for. The story was whoever owned it were asking much more and Bob low balled them on the price and they accepted. I dont know if he bought it from Volo. Maybe someone can verify that on the forum.

gtx6970

I remember talking to Bob at a show in Clay City Ky, he wanted to work a trade with the silver Daytona for my 4 spd 1969 GTX vert, and I turned him down ( yea I know,,,,,, it wasn't one of my best decisions  :brickwall: :slap: )

But I agree , Bob and Sharon are 2 of the nicest people you will EVER meet

i  have pictures that I passed on to Bob&Sharon. Car has never been registered. Original MSO!!  This car was a zone office demo that I picked up at  Natick,Mass. There were 10 to choose from. I picked the  only 6-pack car. 4-speed with a bench seat.  I think it had around 2,800 miles.  Bob & Sharon are great folks. We always get together at Chrysler Carlisle. Went to his shop a few years ago. Mopar eye candy at its finest.

I remember seeing a Nascar Petty charger at a earlier Indy meet wasnt Malcolms car .I believe it was Mark Maroughis

Going back to the mid 90's when they bought the car, that is now a long time ago.   It may have been a good deal.  But since we had have had a HUGE run up in prices since then, anything from then would seem like a steal.   Also, the car they bought was nowhere near as nice as the shape it is in today.   I believe the car was from the Rockford Illinois area.

I remember seeing a A4 silver daytona for sale if its the same car.I have the ad .Seller was a Tom Connor think the car was in Illinois.I seen the current Malcolm car earlier at Mopars at carlisle every time I seen the car it got better

I just got goose bumps. This is the car.  We replaced the left head at our Dealership. I beleive the sales reps name was Bob Clark which I passed on a picture of him in a orange superbird at our dealership to the Malcolms.
