Hasn't that car been around since SEMA? I guess it's getting a lot of mileage (internet wise - not actual driving miles). It's easier to paint a brand new car orange than it is to find a decent 69 for a starting point. I'd rather see the bored people hack up one of those.

It could have already happened, but it didn't. Back in '03 when I was block sanding my General behind Dayclona's shop, Mike from Dayclona kept "measuring" it for a wing. Then this year at the Nats I was approached by Ted Janak about Daytona-ing the General. Would have been unique, but I declined on the basis that a) I didn't want holes in my quarters etc. and b) I'd have two large factions of the hobby on my ass, and justifiably so. Your welcome, guys.

I could see someone doing one kind of a clone daytona that hasnt been done yet .Cant you visualize the car in orange .Flag on its roof 01's on the doors and also on the headlight doors.With that push bar protecting the nose :icon_smile:
