All this talk lately about movie cars reminded me about this one;

RM will be auctioning it off in London next week.  There was a book about the car at one time entitled, "The Most Famous Car in the World" but I wonder if everyone agrees?

No.  Might have had a ring of truth in 1964 but times change.

That title should still be held by a certain flying orange clunker car  :icon_smile_big:

I do not agree, but it is my favorite Bond car ever.  Sure there are newer cars Bond used, and some more exotic.  But this car is simply amazing.  There is a uppity elegance about her. Wish I had the extra 4 million laying around.  It may be 10 million US since our dollar is in the shiter, but that is a different discussion.

or this...

I would tend to agree.  I feel the Batmobile is the most well known movie car.

I had the "Dinkie" toy of the Batmobile and the 007 car. Both are way cool to me.
And I loved the way Sean played Bond....Right Pushy Galore.

While I love the TV Batmobile as pictured (especially since I'm so old I watched the show when it was 1st run ),  the subsequent batman movie cars SUCK.  And I spent way too much on the 1/18 diecast TV Batmobile FYI.

Meanwhile the image of the flying orange clunker car remains strong around the world  :2thumbs:
