I have wanted a 69 Charger for many years now and the wait is finally over. A friend and I went on road trip last weekend to go look at a pair of 69 Chargers and hopefully within a week or so they will be at my place. So not only am I a proud owner of one 69 Charger, I am the proud owner of 2!! They need some work, but I was looking for a project car. One of them has a 383 Six Pack in it which is pretty cool.  Here are some pics.

Wow Thats a great find!!  :o  You must be really excited!!  So what are your plans for them??   :icon_smile_big:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I haven't really decided yet. The yellow car is from nevada and needs quarters and some rear valance work. The other car with the six pack in it I want to get it running drive it some. It also needs quarters and a left trunk pan, but other than that it is extremely solid and all of the interior trim is there. Just waiting to get them shipped right now which sucks because I want to start working on them! Have to wait and see.

Congrats, Man!
One wait is over...but another one just begun. ::)

Were they both sold from the same guy, is that why you ended up with two?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Yep. He was going to sell them seperately, but he made me a pretty good deal if I took both, so I did :icon_smile_big:

The other one does not have an engine in it. I believe that one will be my long term project car. My ultimate dream is to drop a Hemi in it, but I guess we will wait and see.

Let me know when you will be at the shop. I would like to stop by and see it all done. Plus take some notes on how to do mine :icon_smile_big:

You can (could?) buy an aftermarket setup to put three 2-bbl carbs on a 383 - it was never stock.

Troy

Here is a pic of the six pack set up. I am not sure where the intake manifold came from, but it looks like a home job. The carbs sit at about a 15* angle on it. The scoop on the hood and the hood itself are pretty well shot.

A 383 6 pack!  Well, you don't see that everyday.  Does anyone know what that set up would be off of?

Charger_Fan

Wow, that's definitely not your average 6-pack! It's pretty cool, though. ;D

It sure does use a lot of linkages.
