This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Ghoste

I'd be curious to know how the seller established that there were less than 400 made seeing as how GG's White Book lists the number at just over 4200?

mlomaka

Wow, I think the fact it is orange without the factory installed "01" or flag on the roof makes it very rare indded!

He's either another person with incorrect info, or maybe he is one zero off by mistake?

There are a lot of people who don't even seem to realize that's illegal but there are likely a bigger group that know and just don't care.

I was excited when I saw the car was so close to me however, then I saw the pictures...  :o :eek2: :pigsfly:

I wrote him about it and here's his response.

"They make 400 Bronze with automatic trans!"

I wrote back I wasn't aware there was a color breakdown and that my car is Y2 yellow and that was a low production color so I wonder how many Y2 yellow RTSE cars were made?

Ghoste

There wasn't a color breakdown, he's either making it up or he's been given bad information.

Yep, that's what I thought as I have never heard that before.  Kinda lying on eBay about rarity I wonder if that's allowed?  I would think no.
