I agree with most, I vote leave them off. They would maybe look better on a Dart or Duster  :Twocents:

Speaking as one that just had recent paint and body work, aside from the stripe in back I wouldn't dare think of putting decals on my car, in the end though it's your car, so do what feels right

I'd personally put the V21 Hood blackout treatment on the hood to break up the green and then use the same font they used for the 440 callouts on '70s but change it to 500 and maybe a smaller C.I.D

Not trying to hijack, but where do you get those decals?

Here's a link to where I got them, Gary is very talented. :2thumbs:

Actually my first intention was to have a second hood. I had a another hood that should have
been black with a T/A scoop on it, partly for the clearenceproblem running a Performer RPM
intake but also for the look. Due to budgetreasons and that I found a solution for the hood-
clearence I will not go that way. I will put on the rear stripe and take a decision after that.

:scratchchin: Howabout using the Liters which in your case would be 8.2,.. you could also put them ahead on the door scallops...

yeah, drop the "cid"...  :popcrn:

I say do it. If they look crappy or you get bored of them after a while, take em off...that's the beauty of decals. I do like the idea of somehow putting the CID under the 500

Over here you'll need the "CID" add or otherwise not a single linving soul will understand what the 500 stands for......

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...
