So just for fun, we wanted to show you a snippet of cool fan-made computer renderings of cool classic iron that we'd like to see resurrected today. Spotted over at AmCar Guide, we really liked a lot of these designs while others left us scratching our heads. For kicks, we've included the modern renderings with shots of the original inspiration. Then, you take your pick which you prefer.

the mustang appeals to me most.. i actually do like the superbee, but it took me a while to warm up to it.  i "do" see the styling cues and the artists inspiration... just could have been a little "smoother" with the lines.

There used to be a very cool computer concept of a GTX floating around the internet but I can't find it now. It was based on the Challenger and had a 71-72 type front end. Maybe I'll scan it later.

Black Charger

I really like that Chevelle concept. If GM would produce it in both 2 and 4 door versions to replace the Impala, I'll bet they sell a lot of them. I'm surprised that GM hasn't tried to bring back the Chevelle in some form or another already.

I don't really care for them. The Chevlelle looks like its half Challenger.   Nobody can modernize the 70 Bee  There was one of the 69 Camaro pace car floating around with the RS hideaways and the white and orange paint scheme that was a spot on perfect example of classic to new.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

The only 2 cars I like are the Bee & the Cobra. The Chevelle is just a reeeeeeeally bad photoshop from a Challenger.

The side profile on the Cobra looks like the 70-72 Chevelle to me, while the Chevelle concept looks like a Challenger  :shruggy:

Here's a nice rendition of what the new Camaro Pace car could look like compared to the 69 year.  I had a 3 big block 69 pace cars, I would love this car.  :drool5:
