Is This The New Viper Logo?

Not Exactly Sure Why Chrysler is Needing to Redesign All of its Logos, But Check This Out:

We have no reason to doubt it is the new logo, as it was unveiled as such and the event expressly prohibited cameras and cell phones (though some were obviously snuck in anyways). It isn't a drastic change from the original logo, which featured a simple Viper's head outlined. The original logo's snake looked very...cool. Almost relaxed, if you will, like he wasn't concerned about the six-hundred horsepower under the hood.

I like the old logo. New one is too cartoonish for me.

It may have been time to update the logo but if that is the new one it does seem a little over the top.  But what do I know?  Maybe in this era of "extreme" sports an extreme car like the Viper needs an overblown cartoonish larger than life logo.
